Haunts archiveAbby and Jack, a young couple, are keen to enter the property market in trendy Brixton. In order to do so, they will have to make some compromises. Their otherwise perfect fixer-upper flat only has one minor problem: Michael, the resident ghost. Set in a world where ghosts are real and the housing crisis is just as present, Haunts is a new play from the Bruntwood Prize long-listed playwright Christopher Adams exploring the powerful forces of gentrification shaping London today. Haunts asks what is gained - and lost - in the struggle for a place to call home.
