When a tyre blows out on a bridge one Friday afternoon the consequences prove too much for a young family to cope with. Following the lives of Mark and his Mum Sandra, Jeopardy highlights the fragility of normal everyday life and how it can be devastated by an act of fate. Priests, plumbers, teachers, chefs, doctors, greengrocers, foster parents, a rapacious drug dealer and a university freshman are all woven into this episodic tale of family breakdown. Jeopardy examines the themes of abandonment, addiction, recovery and redemption. And of how vulnerability will always attract the voracity of predators. When everything has gone and you are existing on the margins there will always be someone to help you out but there is always a price to pay. The question is, what is it you want innit though?
