Details
Inspired by Albert Camus' essay, 'The Myth of Sisyphus', the plot explores the nature of suicide, sanity and joy through three tragic classical characters: Narcissus, Tantalus and Sisyphus. Long after condemning each to his own eternal torture, Narcissus, Tantalus and Sisyphus are visited in turn by the Gods who come with an offer: continue their unending struggles, or choose to end it all themselves by death. The offer is refused and bewilders the Gods who suspect that the long internment has driven them insane, but the truth reveals itself to be more shocking and beautiful than imagined. Running time 70 mins witn no interval.
