A comedy set in the West Country during the Second World War centering on two neighbours who help each other out through Bristol's darkest hour. The tales they tell are true to life, gathered from wartime housewives, Home Guards, factory workers, ARP Wardens, Gis and those who saw the war through children's eyes.
