Details

Scotland after the '45 is a land struggling with its identities and loyalties. From vastly differing backgrounds, young David Balfour and the fugitive Allan Breck, flung together on a ship with a wild and reckless crew, must work together to save each other. David learns, in the course of a few short weeks that treachery and murder co-exist with courage and honour. The action of the play covers Scotland from the borders, Edinburgh and the Forth, through Erraid and the Isle of Mull, across Appin and Rannoch Moor into the hills of Perthshire.
