CORONAVIRUS: All UK venues closed on 16th March 2020 but restrictions were lifted on 19th July 2021 with venues free to run shows to full capacity audiences after that though there are still issues with company members being forced to self-isolate on being 'pinged'. In September it is possible that a COVID vaccination certificate (or exemption) may be mandated for entry. Please note that iUKTDb archive listings between March 2020 and July 2021 may not be accurate as we did not receive details of all rescheduled and cancelled shows.

Lady Windermere's Fan archiveOn the morning of his wife's twenty-first birthday, Lord Windermere gives her, as a token of his love, a beautiful present - a fan. However, she is to find out that her love is not as secure as she once believed. Who is the strange Mrs Erlynne and what is her husband's involvement with her? Within the structured confines of London 'society', Oscar Wilde creates a witty cartoon of morality and double standards. In twenty-four hours the happiness of Lord and Lady Windermere teeters on the precipice of scandal and disaster. Coloured with rakish young fops, innocent daughters, scheming mothers and bumbling gentlemen, lady Windermere's Fan is Oscar Wilde's classic comedy of manners, hidden identities and mistaken understandings. Manchester Royal Exchange version.
Performers Gabrielle Drake, Rebecca Johnson, Richard Hansell, Simon Robson.
Author Oscar Wilde.
