Based on Claire Tomalin's
The Invisible Woman. We witness Dickens' seduction of the young woman, the affair develop and her later reconstruction of history and marriage to a headmaster in an attempt to lead a normal life. The story is told from the perspective of Ternan's son, who 50 years later decides to uncover the true nature of his mother's relationship with her "godfather" Charles Dickens. This production contains dialogue and scenes of a sexual nature and so is not suitable for children
