In the heart of Salisbury Plain, the Bristol and District section of the Caravan Club are hosting their pre-Christmas rally. Lynne and Colin are caravanning virgins, testing out a van for Colin s new job with the UK s premiere caravan manufacturer. Next door are Colin s mum and dad, veterans of the caravanning community delighted to have their son joining in their hobby and right on hand to make sure that he does everything just how it s meant to be done. But when a mysterious stranger offers Colin an envelope full of cash in return for secrets about the new Lone Star Mark Three caravan, events take an unexpected turn, rocketing the family s firm foundations into previously unexplored territory and ensuring this is a weekend away that none of them are likely to forget.
