Mr Punch's Pleasure Palace archiveIts 1933 and even a small seaside town like Bexhill feels the wind of change. Earl De La Warr wants to build a People's Palace on the sea-front - what does that mean for the future of Bexhill and its residents? Mr Punch's Pleasure Palace is a professional production featuring over 40 members of the Bexhill community. The play is an outdoor promenade production starting on the beach in front of the new Bexhill Rowing Club. The audience will be standing throughout, gradually walking from the lower Colonnade to the DLWP terrace. The performance will last approximately 1 3/4 hours, with an interval. Please wear warm and waterproof clothing, appropriate to the weather!
