On his travels through England, Nicholas encounters a gallery of weird and wonderful characters - from the monstrous Wackford Squeers, to the eccentric Crummles and his travelling players. Scenes of comedy and burlesque alternate with scenes of high drama. Running time approx. 2 hours 38 minutes plus 1 interval
