In 1938,Madame Clara Novello Davies - singer, pianist, conductor, one of Cardiff's most famous daughters - looks back at her life, and her relationship with her son, Ivor, whose unexpected fame has eclipsed hers. In a funny yet poignant final performance, she sings his songs, and allows us a glimpse of her conflicting emotions - envy, guilt, regret.....and a new feeling of invisibility.
