The play concerns a couple like many others who begin to examine their own existence and relationship - and question everything they've ever known when their lives are turned upside down by an external force. With obsessions growing stronger and emotions running high, Oranges on the Brain fizzes and pops and asks the questions which are hard to answer, whilst at the same time seeking the formula for the 'Elixir of Life' - the perfect smoothie.
