Pera Palas, the famous old hotel in Istanbul, is the backdrop for this epic play following three relationships, at three defining moments in Turkish history. From the final days of the Ottoman Empire, through the birth of the Republic, up until the recent Islamic revival, Pera Palas charts the political and cultural changes which have created modern Turkey. Love, identity and acceptance collide in this modern masterpiece.
