CORONAVIRUS:All UK venues closed on 16th March 2020 and look like staying closed until March 2021 with the exception of a few, patchy, openings (and subsequent closures) towards the end of 2020. Some open-air, drive-in venues have been opened for periods and many shows are now streaming on-line. Sadly, some venues and shows may not survive. We are updating our listings as much as possible to reflect the changes as they are reported.
Join Tron Theatre Company and Blood of the Young for a unique and colourful take on the definitive rom-com, Pride & Prejudice. Five vaguely familiar young women have a story to tell. You'll have seen them, emptying the chamber pots and sweeping ash from the grate, the overlooked and the undervalued making sure that everyone above stairs finds their happy ending. Because when you can't be the romantic lead in your own story, you have to play a supporting role in someone else's. Men, money and microphones will be fought over in this irreverent, all-female adaptation of Jane Austen's unrivalled literary classic. It's party time for Elizabeth, Darcy, Jane, Bingley and even those who never got names... Let the ruthless match-making begin. Karen R (12Mar20): Absolutely brilliant! A fantastic romp, fast and furious, with all the wit of the original. The cast covered all the characters with panache. I laughed and laughed! I can't praise it highly enough.
