So tormented was she, by the forbidden veg, She begged her husband to pop over the hedge! But alas he was caught with his allium in hand, By a nasty witch who did wickedly command... The unborn child would be hers for the taking In exchange for the leek, that would be his for the baking! So, for the sake of a leek, their sweet world turned sour, As their child was taken, to be locked in a tower!
