Romeo and Juliet archiveThe story of frustrated young (illegally young in modern terms) love and death and the vendetta between two families in a tight-knit Italian community. One of Shakespeare's most popular and enduring dramas it has also been re-done as film, ballet, musical (most notably "West Side Story") and ice spectacular! As adulthood looms and the pressures of academia mount, two students find themselves entangled in an emotionally charged and inevitably tragic relationship. Designed to tour to schools, a cast of two actors, in a contemporary setting, cut to the very core of the play: the relationship between Romeo and Juliet and the world around them.
