CORONAVIRUS: All UK venues closed on 16th March 2020, work is underway to re-open safely. Some venues are showing on-line productions or outside productions - even a few covid safe internal ones and a number of tours and shows have been rescheduled for later in 2020 and throughout 2021. We are updating our listings as much as possible to reflect the changes as they are reported.
As a luxury liner steams its way across the Atlantic, Turai and Gal try frantically to finish their play in time for the New York opening. But the show depends on the music of a young composer - who can't compose because his girl friend, the leading lady, seems to be rekindling an old flame with the show's leading man, who isn't ready to admit that he is no longer the lover he was in his somewhat distant youth. Add lifeboat drills, the dramatic criticism of a cognac-tippling steward and other storms at sea for a fast-moving 1930s-style screwball farce.Performers Robert Duncan (Ivor), Matthew Kelly (Turai), Nick Lumley (Gal), David Martin (Adam), John Ramm (Dvornicheck), Abigail Thaw (Natasha).
