The first act ends with the dramatic interview between Holmes and Moriarty, and the apparent death of Holmes at the Reichenbach Falls. Act two describes Holmes journeys during his apparent death. We learn of his childhood, the manslaughter of his cruel father, and the effect this had on his life.
