Short Cuts - After the Gold Rush/Survival Guide/The Pick Up archiveSibling Productions Presents 'Short Cuts', a brand new short play festival. Short Cuts features a trio of new short plays from three up and coming writers. They are blackly comic, sharp and innovative pieces of theatre. After the Gold Rush - In the wake of an economic crash, EXCO's innovative new career scheme lands Grace her first dream job interview: but the increasingly bizarre interview methods of HR manager Serena make Grace suspect something far more sinister is in play. Survival - Amanda and Mel have been friends since school but that might be about to change. One cold, drunken night Amanda makes a confession but Mel's reaction is quite unexpected. Will their friendship survive? The Pick Up - On an alcohol fueled whim, married teachers James and Linda go in search of maijuana. Reassured by James' connections, the seemingly innocent adventure into an East London estate takes an unexpected turn for Linda, as she discovers her husbands new found obsession.
