Tammy (formerly Barbara but had her name changed be deed poll) has to make a life changing decision. Does she consult Tarot cards, read endless horoscopes, discuss with her therapist or talk to her friends? Tammy friends are the flat vinyl sort - strong yet vulnerable women she identifies with - Judy Garlands, Arethas, Ninas, Dollys, Dustys, Patsys, Roberta Flacks of this world. An emotional roller coaster of signed songs. Performing to a soundtrack that includes iconic performances from Divas through the ages. Signs of a Diva is a celebratory way of bringing deaf and hearing people together and creating an evening of making old songs new: new for hearing people seeing them signed and new for deaf people who may have never known the words and stories of the songs.
