And now Eddy, his fellow service man and best friend, has gone AWOL in Jordan. Alan breaks protocol and embarks upon a hunt across the post-war Middle East to find him. Alone among people he can't trust, Alan collates a patchwork of sightings of Eddy, Mercenaries, entrepreneurs, prostitutes, translators - this is the real post war Iraq.
