Strangers is a piece about parallel journeys intersecting in time. The piece encompasses a girl's journey through South America in the days leading up to 9/11, a Danish woman's decision to adopt a baby from the far end of the world, a New Yorker's mid-life crisis and a Serbian boy on the New York subway.
