Huck Finn is on the run from 'civilisation' - the adults who would force book-learning, washing, and saying prayers onto him. Huck prefers playing hookey, talking bad grammar, chewing baccy and will spin any yarn to get the grown-ups off his back. The rebellious Huck meets up with runaway slave Jim to 'adventure' their way down the Mississippi on a raft meeting an astounding assortment of characters on the way
