Canaan's story is one of torture and loss and Martha is hungry to hear it, but the last thing she'll do is let him know her. However, when she finds herself isolated in a city now strange to her, Canaan becomes the only person she can turn to for help. But do we ever really understand each other's stories, and once you let someone step into your world, can you ever be free of them? This new play by talented Liverpool playwright Lizzie Nunnery explores violence, truth and cultural differences.
