CORONAVIRUS: All UK venues closed on 16th March 2020 but restrictions were lifted on 19th July 2021 with venues free to run shows to full capacity audiences after that though there are still issues with company members being forced to self-isolate on being 'pinged'. In September it is possible that a COVID vaccination certificate (or exemption) may be mandated for entry. The Awkward Years is a visceral solo drama about being young and lost. Lily's like a lot of other 20-somethings - working a dead-end job, stuck in a cycle of one-night stands and not where they expected to be at the age of 27. Her friends all feel like their lives are falling apart?except Lily's really is. Can she stop the rot before she crumbles away to nothing? The Awkward Years
will fuse a muscular text with frenetic movement and an evocative sound and lighting design to produce a breakneck-speed show about grief, hope and staying alive.Performers Lauren O'Leary.
