The Garden archiveA gentle tale of love and hope set in a high rise flat in the last days of the world. A dysfunctional couple discover a strange plant growing through the floor of their kitchen. The more they pull up its roots, the more it grows back, its gentle insistence reminding them of emotions long-forgotten. Originally commissioned by sound, (North East Scotland's Festival of New Music), The Garden is a short opera for two singing actors based on Zinnie Harris' short play of the same name as part of the 'World is Too Much With Us' season at the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh. Running time: 40mins. Recommended for 12+
