The Honest Whore archiveWritten around 1604 with the assistance or involvement of Thomas Middleton. The play follows the lives of two women, the Princess Infelice and the harlot Bellafront. Set in Italy but drawing on Jacobian underworld London and its prisons, gambling, prostitution, pverty and asylums. Originally written in two parts (plot and sub-plot).
