CORONAVIRUS: All UK venues closed on 16th March 2020, work is underway to re-open safely. Some venues are showing on-line productions or outside productions - even a few covid safe internal ones and a number of tours and shows have been rescheduled for later in 2020 and throughout 2021. We are updating our listings as much as possible to reflect the changes as they are reported.

The Life and Times of Fanny Hill archiveApril de Angelis' adaptation for the stage takes the original novel and turns it on its head. The Life and Times of Fanny Hill tackles the dark underbelly of the story and explores the issues of female identity and ownership in a witty, irreverent way. With stories of sexual exploitation of the young and vulnerable saturating our news and when pornography and sexual images are more plentiful than at any time in history, Fanny Hill's social and political relevance is even more valid today.
Performers Caroline Quentin (Fanny), Phoebe Thomas (Louisa), Gwyneth Keyworth (Swallow), Rosalind Steele (Fiddle), Nick Barber (Dingle/Voltaire), Mawgan Gyles (Spark).
Book by John Cleland. Producer Bristol Old Vic. Producer Lamplighter Drama. Adapted by April de Angelis. Director Michael Oakley. Music Pete Flood. Musical Director Pete Flood.
