Details

It's Halloween in Hampstead, North London. Max Villiers, a celebrity ghost writer, and his wife Harriet host an impromptu party. Eddie, a failed monk is on top form, his date Jacklyn is equally keen to enthuse, while heavily pregnant Imogen and her straight-laced husband try to keep a sense of decorum. As Max connects up his first plasma TV, the evening is hijacked by interference from the past which sends the unlikely sextet hurtling inexorably towards the cocktail party from hell.
