Set in France, we follow an infatuated Spaniard, the Duke of Hermanos, and his attempts to woo the object of his affections, Marion. It's clear from the off that the besotted Duke is prepared to go to immense lengths and often maniacal efforts to win this lovely mademoiselle's heart. There's plenty of action in this fast-paced affair, duels are staged and weapons and words clash as the lovelorn fool mistakes Justice Proudfoot, with whom Marion and her sister are staying, to be Marion's husband.
