The new Millennium is fast approaching. Jude, a forty-year old estate agent living in Richmond, suddenly leaves his wife, his job and his home to go and live and work with a group who care for the homeless. The leader of the group is very charismatic. She is 33. Her activities bring her more and more into the glare of the media. The idea of a 'second coming' is in the air. Rumours abound.
