This Other Island is a re-working of Aime Cesaire's seminal anti-colonialist version of The Tempest. It weaves the tale of a fantasy land of poetry and dance now ruled by Shakespeare's Caliban, in which concepts of belonging, diversity and otherness are radically questioned.
