Albert works the nightshift as porter at an Isle of Man hotel. He's worked every night for a decade. Comfortable by himself and content in his work, he deals with the guests' night-time requests. But when two new staff members are assigned to his shift, he finds more than his space is invaded. He might cope with the wisecracks of a Liverpudlian lad, but what will he do with a woman!
