In the spring of 1941, high on the roof tops overlooking the Cafe de Paris, Vi and Margaret start their Fire Watch shift. Facing fear, betrayal and desire head on, these women delve into the roots of true friendship and embark on a journey of great self discovery. A journey that reaches its climactic conclusion the night the Cafe de Paris is razed to the ground by a bomb attack.
