Hollie McNish and Vanessa Kisuule represented Great Britain at the Slam Du Monde in Paris, and came third which is a great result when you're up against the (other) best poets in the world. Hollie McNish commissioned by Woman's Hour, Channel 4 Random Acts and WoW festival. Hollie was the 2009 UK slam champion and performs all over the UK and abroad. Vanessa Kisuule has been crowned champion of a huge number of poetry slams, performed all over the UK, filmed a video for Radio 4 and was featured as part of the BBC's Women Who Spit.
