A poetry night featuring a host of local storytellers and acoustic musicians before John Hegley takes to the stage for the second half. A brilliant performer, John is noted for his exploration of such diverse topics as dog hair, potatoes, handkerchiefs and the misery of human existence. The evening is compered by Mark Kelly, who combines his long-standing writing partnership with Jo Brand with regular appearances on stage and radio as well as writing poetry books which he will plug shamelessly during the show.
