Wexford Festival Opera 2002

Sung in Italian. From October 18th, the Festival again presents the hugely popular Opera Scenes. These offer three different mainstream operas in ninety-minute versions performed in the original language with piano accompaniment, principal characters and costumes. For 2002 the operas are Verdi's Rigoletto, Rossini's Il barbiere di Siviglia, and Mozart's Don Giovanni. All performances take place in the intimate surroundings of The Barn, White's Hotel.
