Al Murray - The Pub Landlord

Al Murray - The Pub LandlordT01474709485
Al Murray is the pub landlord who holds forth on all manner of topics, waxing wide about the state of the world with all the skewed logic of a bar room philosopher. Anyone who has spent even the smallest amount of time in a pub will recognise these immaculate observations of British pub culture.

Production details

Once again, Al Murray returns to his local theatre, the Tabard Theatre, to warm up for a unique playing of his Edinburgh award winning shows. Al Murray won the Perrier award (the most prestigious prize in comedy) in 1999 having been previously nominated in 1996, 97, and 1998. Since winning the Perrier, Al Murray has gone on to star in the hit prime time ITV1 shows Happy Hour; An Audience with Al Murray; The Pub Landlord and the critically acclaimed Al Murray’s Multiple Personality Disorder. His last tour finished at the O2 in May 2009 playing two sold out dates. The Guv'nor will return to his spiritual home, Edinburgh, to perform material from his Perrier nominated and winning shows from 1996-99 on consecutive days. The Tabard Theatre shows are the only chance to see them outside Edinburgh.
