Josie Long - All the Planet's Wonders archiveJosie Long has picked up a variety of awards over the years including the chortle.co.uk awards Best Breakthrough Act in 2007 and the if.comedy Newcomer award in 2006. All of the Planet's Wonders (Shown in Detail) is a show about bizarre private collections and about making sense of the world. It's inspired by the Pitt Rivers museum, which is an overcrowded, seemingly ramshackle collection of objects that have been painstakingly arranged and rigorously hand-categorised. It's a show about curiosity and enthusiasm. Josie always hated science at school, but in this show she sets out to reconnect with science and nature, which at the very least should make her unbeatable at trivial pursuit. It aims to be a silly comedy show so full of wonder and passion for the tiny and the immense that afterwards you'll want to get a magnifying glass and a telescope but use them at separate times. 2008 Edinburgh Festival Sell-Out Show.
