Flautist Brian Finnegan and fiddler Aidan O'Rourke, front men with two of the most innovative bands ever to have thrilled the folk scene - Flook and Lau - join forces to create yet another breathtakingly innovative new group. Brian and Aidan are both highly accomplished improvisers and celebrated composers, and neither are afraid to take risks and explore new sonic frontiers. Guitarist Ian Stephenson is at the forefront of the new wave of accompanists and he has forged a formidable rhythm department with percussionist Jim Goodwin, full of drive and imagination. Together, all four have an intuitive ability to journey into the heart and soul of a melody, to take it somewhere fresh and new, and to carry the listener with them.
