The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and BBC World Service present Messiah for the Millennium - the first performance for 40 years of Sir Thomas Beecham's spectacular orchestration of Handel's masterwork. This is the launch of a series of ten monthly concerts of classical and traditional music from around the world promoted by BBC World Service.
