Antonio El Pipa's dance is full of references to his native Jerez, the cradle of orthodox duende. He has conserved all the nuances particular to the Jerez style of movement and has refused on incorporate elements other then that which is strictly flamenco in his flamenco. It is precisely this refusal to compromise on the genuiness of his dancing that has earned him the respect of both critics and flamenco followers alike.
