Eagerly anticipated new works Sivaloka and Ghatam launch Mayuri Boonham’s innovative new company ATMA; using the exhilarating Bharata Natyam dance language to reflect upon the meeting of ancient Indian thought with contemporary experience. Widely known and respected for her role as joint Artistic Director and Choreographer of Angika Boonham now embarks on a new chapter of artistic creativity, to explore the spiritual and sacred within the rush of life today. She brings together an international team of award winning collaborators including: India’s leading electronica composer-duo, Midival Punditz (featuring vocals from Bollywood star Shankar Mahadevan); lighting designers Guy Hoare and Clare O’Donoghue; costume designers Moritz Junge and Becs Andrews and dancers Archana Ballal, Shreya Kumar, Pauline Reibell & Luisa Lazzaro.
