Primal Matter
In Primal Matter Greek artist Dimitris Papaioannou employs the simplest of means - the human body - in a personal response to the new political, social and ethical realities of today's Europe. Throughout the work the two performers struggle between matter and mind, creator and creation. Moving through a series of identities and attitudes they manipulate their bodies into intriguing, unsettling and witty images. Part of Dance Umbrella. This event takes place at The Old Truman Brewery, 91 Brick Lane, London E1 6QL
