CORONAVIRUS: 22Feb21 UpdateAll UK venues closed on 16th March 2020. After the Prime Minister's announcement it would appear that, subject to continued control of the virus, venues may re-open with social distancing and limits on audiences from 17th May. Social distancing restrictions may be removed from 21st June. We will continue to update our listings as much as possible to reflect the changes as/when they are reported.


After the Birds is a fusion of elements from Aristophanes’ comedy, The Birds. The story of a group of rebels who attempt to create a new, pure, uncorrupted society halfway between humans and the gods. In this vision of a comedic non-conformist utopia in a politically unified but still divided Europe, the departure from one jaded and corrupt society leads to the formation of a new but equally jaded and corrupt society inevitably involved in imposing heavy limitations and conditions. This pioneering theatre performance work combines urban choreography, Greek song, and a uniquely physical choir, with contemporary live music and film, colliding to create a truly must-see spectacle.
