Because I Can - T01974626580

A delicate dance solo visiting notions of power, memory and growing old. Created by Eva Recacha in collaboration with performer Lauren Potter, and sound artist Alberto Ruiz Soler, Because I Can is a poetic stream of consciousness where memories flow in and out of our grasp, leaving a delicate scent of nostalgia, futility and loss. In this introspective work, audiences are invited to witness the character's chain of thoughts contextualised by sounds and noises of the past, present and future.

Aftermath - T688248647

A Sadler's Wells Summer University artist, Eva Recacha is a London-based, Spanish choreographer whose distinctive voice has seen her placed twice as a Place Prize finalist. Returning to the Lilian Baylis Studio for the first time since her Wild Card evening in 2014, Eva brings us the world premiere of her new full-length work ? an absurd and humorous duet set in limbo, where two women suffer from eternal boredom and lack of acknowledgement. Inspired by Eva's own experiences of motherhood, Aftermath questions what living in a post-feminism, post-truth, post-everything world means, and what happens when change is no longer an option.
