After the Prime Minister's announcement it would appear that, subject to continued control of the virus, venues may re-open with social distancing and limits on audiences from 17th May. Since he burst onto the scene in 1996, Henri Oguike has become a leading force in dance. Combining technical virtuosity with the immediacy of live music, his work has won numerous awards and given a creative blood transfusion to the world of contemporary dance. By turns thundering and gentle, visceral and flirtatious, the work of this dynamic young company.

A Moment of Give/Prime Origin/Ile Aye

A Moment of Give - A moving quartet to the music of Shostakovich. Prime Origin - A solo by Oguike set to Beethoven's Piano Trio 'Ghost'. His piece portrays the obsessive nature of a young man, built around themes in Plato's Phaedrus. Ile Aye - Henri and four female dancers perform a light-hearted piece to some hot Brazilian tunes by renowned artist Caetano Veloso.
