Vigour: All Seeing/I Said, You Said, We Said/It's Like a Thorn In My Side - T01191976489Vigour includes a special collaborative work with Sculptural artist Heidi Luker. Choreography by Keisha Grant. All Seeing - Inspired by a stunning Shona sculpture by Zimbabwean artist Albert Manvura, displayed at The Horniman Museum. The emotions, elegance and simplicity held in the sculpture's features are bought to life in this performance, where a watchful owl becomes a powerful weapon for defence against enemies and negative spirits. I Said, You Said, We Said - A playful study of human interaction. This piece investigates the subconscious body language individuals use to provoke a response. All three dancers have a different language but maintain a common ground. It's Like A Thorn In My Side - Created in collaboration with sculptural artist Heidi Luker, this piece represents a journey from suppressed anxiety to freedom and contentment. An exciting work investigating a journey of extreme emotions. | |
