Marc Brew - For Now, I Am Tour - Remember When/Uath Lochans/For Now, I Am

Work:: Marc Brew (S434370395)

Internationally acclaimed Choreographer, Director and Performer based in Glasgow.
Performer Marc Brew

Production:: For Now, I Am Tour - Remember When/Uath Lochans/For Now, I Am (T01391575808)

Remember When draws upon exposure, peeling away layers, using line and extension, intricate folding, placement and re-placement, opening a conversation of remembrance. Previewing at Sadler's Wells in 2014 and premiering at Dance International Glasgow in 2015, For Now, I am investigates and exposes Marc's changed form. Using dance and visual projections by VJ Jamie Wardrop, For Now, I am explores themes of what it is to be broken, reborn, purified and to reconcile being in the world in an entirely new way. Building a dialogue with a body transformed, Brew confronts his most essential aspects, in this distilled form. The programme will be accompanied by the short film Uath Lochans. Filmed in the forests below the Cairngorm Mountains in the Central Highlands of Scotland, Uath Lochans is the first collaboration between Brew and screendance artists Katrina McPherson and Simon Fildes.
