After the Prime Minister's announcement it would appear that, subject to continued control of the virus, venues may re-open with social distancing and limits on audiences from 17th May. Social distancing restrictions may be removed from 21st June. We will continue to update our listings as much as possible to reflect the changes as/when they are reported.

Richard Alston, Artistic Director of The Place, the UK's leading centre for contemporary dance, is internationally recognised as one of the most influential and inspiring choreographers in British dance. A Sudden Exit - is set to Brahms' beautiful late piano music (Opus 118 and 119) played live by Stringfactory, a truly moving work, it explores the pain of abrupt departure. Roughcut was made in 1990 when Alston was director of Rambert Dance Company. Set to Steve Reich's shimmering New York and Electric Counterpoints for clarinet and electric guitar.
